Funny how it seems like there whole personality changes with a grooming. Charlie always came back a certified pipsqueak . It would take a couple weeks to evolve back to himself!

I've dove off many east coast beaches of Florida. it's a barren sand desert a handful of miles or a lot more, til ya hit the weedlines. not much fish life out there til the weedlines. only sharks ive ever seen were by the beaches mostly between sandbars and the beach in the central east coast beaches. mostly blacktips. seen a few tigers, rare bull, hammerhead few other types also. they tend to flee when they see ya diving. I tried for years decades ago with underwater film cameras to get a picture of me near one and they swim away super fast. gone in an instant.

I also grew up surfing east coast.....ya tend to get bumped and nosed a lot in the water. never been bitten......yet......but don't surf anymore so I dont expect to......

gulf coast and keys areas are very different from what I described above.....

bigger population, so statistically cali would be more than florida. I've learned over the years every state has their own florida man type citizens. some states don't release information so it's hard to impossible for journalists to report these stories. florida is just easier and we got enough knuckleheads out of the 21 million or so people to keep the oddball looney news articles chock full of stories........

I meant higher per capita than Florida. Cali is a magnet for crazy.
