I have a hard time looking at a photo. It is definitely ivory and almost certainly African elephant ivory, although that is a tough call. They used it down at Orlando for awhile but cracking issues were a problem. This was before the ban, of course.
Just noticed this knife is for sale here. Add says its mastodon ivory. Better photos there. https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/for-sale-randall-made-knife-extremely-rare.1971726/I can see the grain in the ivory on my computer monitor. On the other hand, I have been known to be wrong.
i was advised it was mastodon ivory for this model - though i may be wrongMight be polished stag. Not easy to tell in the photo. Also no spacers at all. Unusual for sure. Angled blade stamp used after 1979. As far as I know.
