With tremendous assistance from @Ratbert , I have discovered that my mystery barlow posted above was made by Michael Manrow, who handmade knives in Toledo, OH. Further research indicates that he made knives from 1975 until 2002, and that his early knives, often one-of-one, had his name hand-engraved, This is from my knife's tang:

Here is a Ken Erickson Jack - sole authorship!
It looks like it's modeled after a nice Remington. Does anyone know what Ken's steel code "6" means??

1=O1
2=A2
3=D2
4=ATS 34
5=154 CM
7=CPM D2
8=440V If you are lucky enough to have one of these!
