Sketchen Scales Customs

Thanks Nasgul!

Just finished up this smooth G10 scales for a CFK Daboia. The original had a very aggressive jigging type pattern. This feels much better.

Is it possible to do pink ctek for a gayle bradley? We've talked scales a lot in the past, I just keep forgetting to follow through. Gonna try and go with it this time.

Sure, I could do pink ctek, or maybe white ctek with pink liners? Send me an email at sketchenscales@gmail.com to discuss further.

Just finished this special horseman for MMans0311.
7000 year old Irish bog oak, green mother of pearl bolsters, orange liners and spacers.
Ti liners will be getting an orange cerakote from Josh at razoredgeknives and it's sporting green gnoleb standoffs as well as a nathawhut pivot. Getting Ti screws and a custom pocket clip too. :-)

Steve, i am aware that this scale was a lot more work and attention than a typical set scales with the added work of the faux liners, bolster and sending the ancient materials out to Cali to be stablized right in the middle of your move back east. For this i am forever greatful and you knocked this one out of the park pal!!

My wife's favorite color, and I thought pink scales on one of my knives would make her happy. I also want scales for another knife, even more than the GB. It is for a Brous Bionic (original, not the 2.0). Here in the cold winters of Chicago, metal handles are awful. I'd like to do a wood or maybe combo wood/ctek.

Hi Steve, Just wanted to share some pics of the scales you did for me. They came out better than expected. I particularly like how you treated the area around the jimping. Using the scallops to tie them into the jimping and ad traction, but not carrying them out to the edge of the scale to keep the clean lines...brilliant! Here are some pictures I took.
Took my plain jane Emerson and made it into a sophisticated knife.

These are the 2 best shots of the jimping, still kinda hard to see

Tdkfm-
I have worked with ebony. I prefer African blackwood since it can look almost identical and doesn't need stabilizing, but can work with either.

KOD - I have some pink peel ply G10 on hand if you're interested in that. I may be able to do something with your bionic. I'll look into that.

Onojoe- Thanks for the kind words and great pictures! Happy to have brought out the classy soul of that model for you.
