Got the background carved out too, pretty much just shading left on the first side

Playing around with blackening Titanium, seems to work...no more black enamel backgrounds for me! Pretty damn abrasion resistant too, took some elbow grease to sand it back off the high points

On the downstretch! Just have to do the shading on the other side, then on to blackening I think!

Well...it appears the system works! Blackened Titanium take two I'm probably going to strip the knotwork and anodize, leave the blackened background and frame.

Wound up just keeping the blackened background, having the frame blend into the background was just weird. The blackening works out great for it though...a nice flat black that really makes the colors and engraving pop

Martin's going to pass, so it's currently available...I'll try to get a sales thread posted up soon
