Super polished edges

Just curious, when you guys go for these polished edges do you end up creating multiple burrs from spending so much time on each stone/strop?

Nah, when I get to the final grit I remove the burr with a microbevel and then strop (alternating sides).

I love a polished wharncliffe blade.

Very nice, Scrim!

I hate when people say polished edges are just for show. A polished edge with a nice micro bevel with slice through anything like butter.

Thanks, brando555. Like anyone that gets obsessed with a hobby, I not only do it for the look, which I love, but also the constant quest for razor sharpness.
