The "Ask Jo (NinJO) Thread"

Thanks Casinostocks, all good, just wanted to let her know it was full.
She’s always been great at reaching out. No rush.

I've been around this joint ever since its inception and a fan of Nathan's work for quite a few months before that timeline and here is what I learned very quickly:

Nathan doesn't fail to finish a knife which he has sold and more importantly, Jo never forgets to collect :D

Lol, this will be my 3rd CPK knife in a short time and I’m sure many more to come!!! Might have to get in on either the medium or heavy chopper when the preorder comes available. . Great company and also a great bunch of people in this group!

I only started following CPK less than a year ago after seeing Nathan demo the durability of the FK on a youtube vid--when he pounded it through a nail and a concrete block I was hooked--and then I was lucky enough to score an HDFK on my first sale chance ( it was the "relaxed" sale back a few months ago 8)... ever since it arrived it's all I carry--all of my other knives, they all fall short now...fit, feel, looks--they have all been banished to the toolbox. I just prefer the HDFK overall. It just feels right. With that said, I may be posting something different once the DEK comes out or the FK 2.0--but I don't see any other maker supplanting CPK for me. "Evil Genius" is well deserved.

Hi,

Can you please explain the blue color option on the grips for CP knives?

On my monitor, it appears there is. Light blue color option... is this “antique” color?

Thanks.

I think the light blue might be TeroTuf. From Top to bottom, Natural, Black, OD Green, Maroon Linen, and TeroTuf

So tero tuff is light blue?

I thought it was black rubber? Thank you for the response.

I hope it will be easier to purchase extra scale sets in the future - depending on how im feeling I might want blue, black, green, orange, red, rainbow sprinkles, etc. on my HDFKs and choppers.

:D I understand, but they are not really blue. It is more gray, but I guess in the right light, they have a blue tinge. In person they definitely look gray. I hope that helps. Actually looks a lot like the unbuffed black micarta.

Hi Jo , love love love the 3color rag unbuffed. I got them confused this morning. Have a great weekend my friends!

I must Say that picture above of the edc is a beauty. To bad we don’t see more satin coming from compound. Looks like a real nice job.

I saw that the soft rubber inlay over natural micarta grips were available with the MC pre-order. Any chance I can get a set for my BC?

Yes, if you contact me, we can set that up. The MC and BC scales are interchangeable. I have a lot of folks contacting me right now, so I may be a little while getting back to people. If you email me and don't hear back within a week, please send me another email, as it may have gotten lost in the shuffle. Thank you!
Jo

Jo, any chance of picking up a set of EDC scales in TeroTuf?
