Been carrying the Astrum FP a fair bit since I bought it and it's been feeling a little gritty so i decided to pop it open and give it a clean. I was REALLY surprised by the amount of filth in the bearings. I have only carried this knife on and off for around 2 months. I haven't seen any of my knives - including the F95 Icebreaker I carried before this, pick up so much junk in so little time. Makes me wonder if any of what I was cleaning off came from the factory? Not a huge deal either way. Feels good now!

Anyone here jump on one of those recent 111’s they dropped in the S90V steel and purple CF handles? I didn’t see the email notice until an hour later and they were sold, I’m hoping more are coming down the line in some other colors!

I dug out my orange Hati yesterday to carry for a bit

Thanks for sharing, I missed that one.

Surprisingly, the blade has been updated, but the numbering remains the same -- Gen 5.1

I wonder if it's easier to flick-open.

I did! I have 2 of them now, and i wont the lotto for yet another solar, so.. #3 incoming. Im a weak, weak man
 
In case anyone is looking for an affordable F3 with greenish or bluish scales:

F3 is now available with Alutex scales - Emerald and Aquamarine. Both versions come with a 95mm (3.74in) long and 3.5mm (0.14in) thick Elmax blade that runs on MRBS Multi-Row Bearing System, have titanium pivot collars and smooth backspacer

It seems to be a kind of mid-tier (2M) variant — skeletonized liners + titanium collars & backspacer.

B Bacchus along with the colors I think that solid style backspacer looks pretty good! Alutex is a cool material to look at but I like the feel of it as well, it has a bit more of a soft feel vs the other composite handle materials and it has a grippier texture.
