The New Snark Thread

Just starting to cover the grass here 20 and light winds . Dogs are let out and back in breakfast finished.
Heated throw (giant heating pad) around my left side back down to my knees. Let it snow ❄️
 
had some thundersnow earlier, current visibility is up to 60- 75 yards, temp is 16 according to my front porch, feels like -3 according to accuweather.
 
I had a 24-26" deep drift on the back deck. By the time I had it cleared, there was better than an inch of fresh powder at the other end.
Back yard is a shallow slope and the snow is about a foot deep. The ridge between house and shop or front was around 8-10" deep in the shallow spots when I dug a path to the house for the barn cat.
 
We probably have 5-6 inches so far. Visibility sucks. Went for a putt around town, watched somebody drive into a deep ditch. They missed the turn.
 
Same here 5-6 inches and still coming down I’ve just been watching it snow. I got a text from work saying all appointments outpatient facilities and non essential procedures are canceled for tomorrow
 
I went back out around 4:30 and cleaned another 5-6" off the back deck before going out front to dig out the cars and start shoveling the driveway.
It's about 18" or so deep
Shoulder wore out around 7 before I finished, so I know what I'll be doing in the morning.

Snow stopped coming down around 5:30, clouds cleared off and I was able to shovel by the light of the crescent moon.
 
Stopped here for about an hour, but started like crazy again.
 
Little lull in the action, but radar shows she's getting ready to snow some more.
 
Since I don’t have t work tomorrow I plan on waiting till it stops tomorrow afternoon to clear the driveway. I got the snow blower out fueled and started yesterday
 
currently 3 with a WC of -10.
think I'll wait a bit before I go back out to finish.
definitely feeling my age this morning.
 
SWMBO frequently reminds me I need to treat my body like the age it is, not the age I want it to be.
 
Mostly I feel old because of my failing hands. Right hand mostly. Arthritis and tendinosis are a bitch.
 
went out and dusted the cars back off -- 1/8-1/4" of ice was under the snow on all the glass, ut the sun should start loosening that pretty soon.
it's already up to 6, so thanks to the modern magic of NSAIDs, I'll actually get dressed and head out in about 1/2 hour to finish shoveling.
 
Only took 2 hours to finish the drive, dig out the truck, clean ice off the cars, and a couple other small shoveling tasks
Was 6 when I started at 10 and 14 when I came in at noon
 
I just went out and shoveled the walks. I'd say we got around 10 inches. Not gonna scoop the driveway. Cars should go through it.
 
Neighbor came by just after 3 with his tractor and pushed all my piles about 20' further back, then opened up the driveway entrance and extra 5'.
Took him about 25 min to erase 3 hours of shoveling

This did not hurt my feelings at all
 
It quit snowing around 3:00 I fired up the snow thrower and spent about an hour cleaning up I had about 13 inches. First time I have had to run my snow thrower in low . I need to find a snow thrower attachment for my gravely . Those are beasts
