The "Whatever" Thread

Made my first Damascus billet a few weeks back.
Made this little guy from the tail end cutoff - you can see the progression from 12 layers to 36 to 108 (the last 1/2")
4" blade, 5/5" tall and 3/32" at the spine. FFG with a tiny secondary bevel

The handle is birch bark and antler
I liked the "as quenched" patina and pattern, so I didn't polish and deep etch it.
 
Today was my first trip to the woods for a little pre season scouting. Things look much better than last year but that's not saying much considering how last season was. It was wonderful sitting still listening to the acorns rain down. If you've never experienced it you don't know what you're missing.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Haven't been around much lately, work has been keeping me way to busy (translation... lots of BS).
