Jesus. That is quite the collection. Just let me know if you ever need to lighten that heavy load...
Beautiful congrats!!!!So... A little something something arrived yesterday from Jo and Nathan! Their generosity knows no bounds, and I was more than a little taken aback when I opened the package. I just really wasn't properly prepared for the awesomeness the box contained!
DEK3 in CPM-MagnaCut and desert ironwood scales!
This knife is incredible! It has the exceptional ergonomics we've come to expect from the DEK line, with probably the best handle milling I've EVER seen. The blade is nice and thin behind the edge. This thing will CUT! The subtle, upswept thumb ramp is ridiculously comfortable, with just the perfect amount of jimping. The hidden lanyard hole (which I neglected to take a photo of) is an awesome touch! I am so pumped to put this knife to use!

MagnaCut, along with S90V and AEB-L are easily my favorite stainless steels. I can't wait to see what this bad boy can do with Nathan's heat treat!

And of course, being a Lorien design, I had to dress it up with a sheath from the man himself! This isn't the first sheath I've purchased from Lorien, so I had an idea of what to expect (hint... A lot of quality and attention to detail), and he did NOT disappoint! This is a hell of a sheath! Nice and slim, with VERY high quality leather. Retention is EXCELLENT! I honestly can't think of a better pairing for such a great knife.

Those scales look AMAZING!
I'm still getting over my shock on this end.
This was going to be a "truck knife"... But I don't see myself relegating this beauty to the glove box anytime soon.![]()
The immediate conclusion should be that now, you need a backup.![]()
Doesn't matterYep yep, DEK1. Not sure why I typed DEK3, considering I had Lorien make a sheath for the DEK1.![]()
Congrats, a beauty !

After seeing Fixall’s post, took a dive into the preorder thread and noticed that a few more orders have been updated as of today 6/08. It appears that the ones with more intricate variations and options are about ready to get shipped out. Expecting some more exotic DEKs to hang out!
