Looks like I forgot to post a Thrifty Thursday knife on Thanksgiving Day a week ago. I SHOULD have posted this Rite Edge curved lockback Barlow with drop point blade:


For today, I have a Rough Ryder work knife that is similar in several ways to the Rite Edge: wood covers, lockback, curved handle, drop point blade, lanyard tube:

I think this is a "thrifty" by 2024 (and likely 2025 and beyond?) standards.

Pretty sure I paid under $20.⁰⁰ with tax and shipping.

Although the covers are allegedly composed of scraps of paper money embedded in acrylic, this Rough Rider "Easy Money" canoe is still an inexpensive knife.

Very nice.
I "think" it is great RR is using carbon steel on more models - and that not everything has blades that can double as a signaling mirror.
