$20 and I bought mainly for the novelty value.

Makes for a good carry, too. Doesn't print in the bottom of your pocket, either. 😁
$20? Huh. They went up. I believe mine was half that.

Saw a review of the slightly larger equal end smooth tobacco bone sunfish on You Tube. Guy said he "got it cheap" on eBay. "Only" $60. I paid nine or ten for mine before they were discontinued. I guess Rough Rider really is "collectable" and go up in price over time.
Maybe I should do a eBay search on my A Stroke of Luck xl stockman, standard size canoe, and regular trapper. See how much they are "worth" or going for these days.🤔 Not that I'd sell them. I ain't sold a knife in 67 years. Gifted a few, but never sold.

Your cost estimate sounds about right!:cool:
End of March in 2017, a RR Zombie Nick Toenail was $11.83; a 15% discount (those were the days 🤓) knocked it down to $10.06; sales tax (plus free shipping) kicked it up to $10.66. Price per pound was pretty impressive for a knife!😁

I carried this one last week and it's definitely one of my favorite pocket knives.

I consider it to be relatively thrifty, because it cost me under $20 like new off Ebay , the 2nd one I bought NOS on Ebay to give away was under $20, and I know I probably payed a little more than they were new from Monroe Hardware.
Probably significantly more than the 60's examples sold for and likely right about what they were in the final years of Camillus.
