I did a pretty good job, by my standards, with the replacement handle. It must be epoxy putty because I couldn't have poured a handle that's high in the middle, and I must have mixed in charcoal or paint, because the black hasn't worn off.

I would have said no to the maker's mark, but with squinting, it says LUBOTSO, or more likely, LUBOTCO on the main tang, as well as Solingen/Germany on the other side of both tangs. I've seen a picture of one in bone, but from the seller's pics, mine looks like Delrin. I'll know when/if it gets here.
