Edit: the clip point on the trapper is a lock back btw, which I find interesting. But perhaps it’s common

Barlow bonanza!

This week, my knife, a Rough Ryder Easy Money canoe, is not only thrifty due to its relatively low cost, but it allegedly has actual cash (albeit shredded) sealed under its clear acrylic covers - can't beat that!

Another Rough Ryder from my May buying spree is this Bow Trapper with "T10 High-Speed Tool Steel" blade, stainless bolster, and black micarta covers. To the nearest dollar, it meets my new inflation-adjusted price criterion for thriftiness.

Well, figure for $40 bucks it’s a good price point for what you get. A lambsfoot jack with good looking handles and above average fit and finish. The last several A. Wright knives I’ve gotten seem to have better QC than the ones I bought several years ago.

Old USA made promo knife. About a sawbuck. A little worried that scales are celluloid starting to turn. Interesting that 2nd blade is Wharncliffe, not pen. Also interesting are faux bolsters, curved ends of steel liners when stamped out. See if I can use phone macro mode to illustrate.

The brass counts but then the shipping puts it waaaaay over the limit and the Laguiole should be over the limit but not when you find a good used one for a low price.
