What are you watching & why? (splain)

a simple favor and savages, why?take a look at Blake Lively!,and besides that both very nice movies although completely different.after a short break for dinner i checked the accountant, didn't know what to expect but hey,it was ok.

Taboo on Hulu / FX. Just 3 episodes into this series but already hooked. Probably not everyone's cuppa as it's a slow brewing one but Tom Hardy, as usual, does some excellent acting. Not quite certain, but I think that there are some historical facts and values in this series in the era of the Revolutionary War (or as the Brits would say back then, the war of insurrection). For those who may wanna delve into this, be warned that although there is a plan for a season 2, with this current Covid shyteshow and the fact that Hardy is a very busy actor saddled with many other pre Covid projects, you may end up with disappointment if no S2.

Parting shot: reminds me a bit of Penny Dreadful (the original) although not quite the same genre. Also sadly no scrumptious Ms. Eva Green. I think that I keep repeating myself about this fine actress but facts are FACTS ;)

 I liked Taboo. I watched for the second time on Hulu recently. Binged it in one sitting.

Info showed it as being aired for the first time in 2017 but I have no idea if it’s accurate or not. That guy was a beast on the drums, I thoroughly enjoyed watching him.

That make up on Snyder was rough, very distracting. I understand the nostalgia in it for him and some fans but I would’ve been happy if he had went on without it, he can stand on his voice alone.

Checked out HBO's "The Flight Attendant", in spite of Penny still playing Penny for the most part I really liked it...7 episodes in if I remember right.

I've also been watching it but only on and off. I may be 5 or 6 episodes into it IIRC. While staying with HBOMax, I wanna get in the right mode to watch the documentary "How Can You Mend a Broken Heart" about the Bee Gees.
