Switched off to the Alpha folder with nylon pouch. Model 249. Blade propels pretty quick with flick of the thumb stud.

love that film cracks me up.....

not a silly question, a good one.....I strip the bark off a section and chew on it for the juice. which has some nutrients in it beside the sweet.

some folks cut it up in small round mouth size chunks and peel the bark off and chew it like a piece of gum..when flavors gone spit it out. David Martin (R.I.P.) did that style, so he told me.

ya can also press it and get the juice and then boil it down and make syrup, but I dont care much for the syrup too sweet for me.....I prefer it raw. its a flavor different than sugar but very sweet.

jbmonkey pot pie is hard to beat, these will be pan fried though. Bits soaked in salt water for a couple days, boiled to take the edge off then rolled in flour, salt and pepper and sizzle in a butter bath. Good stuff
