I had this 112 Slim Select with me while I fiddled with audio gear.
I'm sort of "stuck in the 80s" as far as stereo gear. Most of my stuff was made pre-85. But it sounds good to me. I'm in the suburbs, but my neighbors seem to like my music taste
Acoustic Research makes some nice stuff.
I'm a Klipsch Heritage guy myself.
Beings Voxx now owns both...... Hopefully they leave things alone.
I love it when the wife leaves me home alone, so my neighbors can enjoy my stereo.
I get to enjoy their barking dog all the time.
We're out in the country, and I'm surrounded by vacant woods, so it's really not that big of deal.
But I get a kick out of it anyways.![]()
I wish I still had some of my equipment from the 80's.I'm sort of "stuck in the 80s" as far as stereo gear. Most of my stuff was made pre-85. But it sounds good to me. I'm in the suburbs, but my neighbors seem to like my music taste
I've heard nothing but good about Klipsch, but have yet to hear any in person.
Love that Yamaha setup. I'd like to find a nice Yamaha TT. I currently use a Sony linear tracking model PS-LX57 running into my Yamaha A-720 integrated amp, then into my AR-58B speakers. My other components (CD, tape, tuner) are also Yamaha. Very clean sound.Been using the AG canoe to open the days mail and packages. To help I put on a Marshall Tucker Band LP running thru a Yamaha PC2002M/Yamaha C-4 to Polk Audio SDAs. Glad to see other Buck/audio fans.
