what is that handsome knife?
Beautiful Barlow. I’ve never seen this handle shape before, I love it.
Hi, It's a Barlow from Cosimo De Benedetto from Rome :
Been a good couple weeks for acquiring pre 1970 Case red bones.
3 very nice examples John Case sure had pretty red bone back in those days !
Thanks Rob, they sure did, some of the best bone of all time in my opinion.
Nice find on the one arm model, John!! I've seen that blade often on a 6205 but never on a 6209!! All three are great scores!!
Bulldog barlow, one in stag and the other in ram's horn.
A beautiful and rare pair.
this ones pretty good
How is it possible that such a bouquet of flowers is not produces any more
Ditto on the above. Very nice knives. Makes me wonder though if it was rebladed? Or a factory knife? Anyone know? @Augie ?
Thanks Eveled, it's factory, the pattern number is 62009R, R is for razor. I have a 10 dot in the collection also, picture of both that also shows where Case changed the pen blade to behind the main, this occurs right before the 10 dot from what I have observed.
Very cool! Thank you.
