What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

Schrade made a LOT of Barlows! Here's a Grand-Dad's #206.

That makes no sense at all, and I don’t blame you for being angry. Boker’s price are hard to understand at times.

More bewildered than anything. The fact that all the U.S. dealers have that knife for around $200, while the European and UK stores are selling it for half the price leads me to believe that the difference in pricing might be coming directly from Boker. Paul from REC suggested that maybe import/export and international shipping direct from the Boker is a cause for part of the difference. That make a little sense to me (although it doesn't explain the price being double). Import/Export fees and whatnot don't start kicking in until you purchase a couple thousand plus worth of merchandise. A U.S. dealer buying several thousand dollars worth of Boker knives would have to pay fees, while someone who bought a single knife from an U.K. store for ~$100 wouldn't have to pay those fees (and will often get free shipping). Idk.
