What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Sodbuster Sunday!! Relaxing in the shade after getting the yard mowed. My son is out in the boat fly fishing for the elusive muskie! They’re hard enough to catch conventionally, so I don’t anticipate much success. The coolers are iced in advance of the family invasion that begins tomorrow!

Did my first round of wild black raspberry picking yesterday. But right now I'm waiting for the well guy to come find out why our well pump quit at 7:00 this morning. Luckily, I got my showering done and coffee made first.

Work knives for the rest of the day.

Nice knives and boots. Hope well pump is an easy, cheap fix

I hope it ain't cuz the well ran dry. 🤞
Nope. I bellyache about not enough rain, but we're on a great aquifer, with according to the lab tests we had done a year ago, "the best well water I've ever tested".

Aint nuttin cheap anymore, my friend. Needed a new pump. And our pressure tank is old and undersized, so I'm getting on the calender to have him come swap it for a new and bigger one. And replace the grungy galvanized piping with copper. Hey, what's another $2000?

That is so true my friend. There are some things that are still free though.
Hope he got your system running for now.
I hope your recovery is progressing nicely.

Hope you get your water back pronto 🤞
$2000 for all that sounds like a good price. I had to replace my pump back in ought '22, and it was $2300 for the pump and control box. No new piping or pressure tank. Your plumbing sounds like mine - a combination of galvanized, copper and PVC. The pump that failed had been installed in 1979. The guy told me, "This one probably won't last that long." 😒
