This pair of Schrades takes me back to when I bought a 33OT Jack and a 293Y Trapper, and carried them for a couple of decades.
I like how Schrade managed to get a lot of blade in a medium frame on the 233.

Some whispers of fog today here in the City by the Bay 🌬️. Not much on the agenda other than waiting for Postie Mike and Fed-X. Unfortunately no new traditions one I’ll post later on the traditional/modern thread. In the meantime keeping me company with a nod to Micarta Monday these two beauties. Have a great week folks! 😀

Finally had a change from my stainless 53…we will see how long that lasts 😂
I think it’s genuinely beyond a honeymoon period at this point and safe to say that 53 might just be my favorite traditional in my collection!

This Jack Wolf dogleg is no slouch though! Love the richlite on this one being my nod to micarta Monday for this week, and the blade is a real nice cutter.

As I have mentioned before, Modoc ED Modoc ED is my ‘knife whisperer’ and I envy his awesome collection of Sodbuster Jr. and Sowbelly patterns. The single blade Sowbelly has been my grail. I missed the run from the early-2000’s and have been hoping that Case will re-run these. I’m a fan of single-blade knives and the TB Sowbelly is a favorite pattern. This antique bone version from 2002 will not be leaving my pocket anytime soon!!
