Do you think I can get royalties? LolVery fine Was looking at a French website with articles about Laguioles and one of them had a Shell at the end of the spring rather than the usual insect mouche/abeille and it reminds me of the shield on this knife
An older 48 with cocobolo that’s new to me
Thank you sir, the 48 is my favorite gec model and I’m very happy with seeing the darker wood on this one! That's a seriously handsome knife, KnifeandEasy!

Happy Memorial Day Weekend everyone! Thanks to all who have given so much; from our earliest days right down to this current crisis.
Not exactly what you are accustomed to seeing from me, but, hey, it counts as traditional. I have wanted to check out one of these Pena titanium knives for quite a while, and I finally found a decent deal on one.
It is as well made as any knife I own; beautiful jigging, great blade swedges, and look at how the back spring fits in between the titanium handles! The action is snappy and extremely smooth. There might be a pivot bushing in there. I am not sure when Pena began using them. This one will see a lot of pocket time.
Thanks Jack, love your description!!!Thank you kindly JJ, that's a wonderfully chunky pocketful of staggy goodness my friend
My Hartshead Barlow is making me into a dull boy! Inspired by @cigarrodog , I thought I'd pair it with this Cognet Ecureuil Have a great weekend folks
Thanks a lot Gev, it certainly has quite the gravitational pocket pull! That ought to put a skip in your step....wow !!!
Love your wonderfully elegant Saynor; the stag covers are of absolute timeless beauty!
Thank you very kindly, Harvey!!!Thank you JJ. Fantastic looking five blader. Great pattern. Beautiful image.
Fabulous stag on your lovely Sheffield cutter; your Tiki has quite the cool exotic feel, like an old Arthur Lyman record!A. Wright Lamb Foot.
Cognet Douk Douk “Tiki”
Hope everyone's doing well. I've spent the last couple of weeks airing out and enjoying the more modern side of my collection. Got that out of the system, and back to the traditional drawer

Thanks Jack, love your description!!!
Nice to see your French friend with your HHB pal; they're both striking the same "slicey" pose!
Congratulations. That's some of the nicest grained osage I've seen on that run.
Thanks. I wasn’t expecting much since Osage Orange doesn’t often show a lot of grain and this was one of the last ones on the dealers’ websites. Here are some closeup pics...Gorgeous covers...wow !!
