What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

We're housebound until Tuesday so, I'm watching "The Devil's Brigade" on the "Turner Classic Movie Channel", drinking a cup of coffee and coon fingering this Scout Trapper that I'm breaking into a decent working knife.

I'll be watching this channel all weekend for military movies. "The Devil's Brigade" is about an American group of mis-fits training up with a group of Canadian Commandos for a Special Ops operation behind German lines.

Today, I am accompanied by a Schrade 293Y Trapper, and a Camco Camp Knife that I took apart and recovered in buffalo horn.

There’s a traveling memorial, similar to the traveling version of The Wall ~ the memorial to those who died in the Vietnam War ~ for those who died in the Gulf Wars. Desert Storm, Desert Shield, and Operation Enduring Freedom. It’s about 60 from here, so we’re going to go see it later this morning. I will try to post a pic.
That's about as practical as you can get for a pair of folders.

Sorry to hear about that recurring numbness, ED. :( Does that interfere with eating and tasting, too?

Yes it does to some extent Gary. When they put my mouth back together on the let side, they tied/stitched my tongue to my new gum and then tied/stitched my gum to my cheek to help keep my mouth from hanging way down. When they did that, it destroyed the taste buds on the left side of my mouth. All's good though. I've still got my upper teeth and can gum most things. Pretzels are out but potato chips are in.:)

I still love the overall shape and look of your Bradford.
Hope you have a good hike and an enjoyable weekend, Jack.
Thanks a lot John, it didn't actually get much use today, but it's a knife I always enjoy carrying, and a very handy blade :) Been a real nice day here, I put some pics in the Guardians thread . Hope you're having a good one buddy
Laudable lineup of lambsfoots, Jack!:cool::thumbsup:
Thank you Gary :)
A perfect pairing for nice day out in the wild; have a great Sunday, Jack! 😁:thumbsup:

Toting a couple stag covered cutters today. :)
