Well, this is how the chef's knife ended up coming out. Not perfect and a far cry from some of the kitchen knives posted on here but I learned alot from this knife! Going to start grinding at the tip to the plunge line... not plunge line to tip. I accidentally made a dip near the 'heel' so it's not as solid feeling as I wanted... but my wife loves it :) On to the next one!

Today I epoxied this three finger gentlemans knife.
I always find this step a bit scary, so many places for pressed out epoxy to hide and ruin the complete project

And after an hour of cleaning run out epoxy

The one above is for somebody else, the one below is for myself.
Because I enjoy carrying a self made knife and to test end refine the design (and epoxy procedure)

Took a days leave today so I spent the morning finishing up the handle scales on this small fixed blade. It's only my third knife I've completed since I took up the hobby a year ago. Pins are all over the show, plunge lines too high... but I'm pretty stoked with it. Enjoyed working with the g10.

Here's the PEU designed friction folder I also made a few weeks ago:

Very nice Stan!! I'm sure most of us can only dream.

Just finished belt sharpening this 10" blade in .2" 5160. Bevels are finished to P1500 and the bocote scales are at P1200 with red fiber liners and 3/16" ss pins.18-14-1.JPG 18-14-2.JPG 18-14-3.JPG 18-14-4.JPG 18-14-5.JPG
