I can't comment on that because I have had it for less than a week. However, since it is essentially a wire mesh G10, I would expect it to behave like any other fully polished G10. The fibers in G10 are more scratch resistant than the wire mesh in raffir, but the polymer matrix (epoxy) is the same.
 
It's a couple of days late but I decided to pocket my vintage Viele C42P today in honor of the designer Howard Viele who Sal reported recently passed away.

It's a"gentleman's" style knife w/a very sharp, narrow & pointy saber/hollow ground 3.375" AUS-8 blade w/micarta scales and a polished show side bolster & backside clip, which minimizes any evidence of pocket wear. Originally made between 1997-2002, it still looks contemporary and it could be carried and used anywhere, from a black tie affair to the local market, w/o causing any alarm whatsoever.

It's a classic! :)
