The closed length is too short for me, or I might try a Mini... The large uses 35VN; a good steel but no match for a thinner hollow-grind in M390 on the Mini...
I just measured my Survive GSO 2.7 and the handle is the same length as the Mini, so I guess I could hold it okay... But, my Spyderco Slysz Bowie, clipped in my pocket, is much "friendlier" at 4 3/8" grip-length, and the CTS-XHP is a very decent blade-steel. I gotta say, though...I almost jumped on that MINI in the Exchange...a great price.
