I guess my sheath needs better retention!

I think that you may want a positive retention sheath or a kydex rather then a pouch sheath. Or never let it leave your hip

Yeah, I got careless and was trying to get some valentine's dinner prepped. I was carrying the knife in sheath in my hand instead of on the hip.

those are love marks, If a knife is not scuffed up it is not being use, if it is not being used then it is not loved. Get out and use them be proud of your scars!

the paper work said "curly spalted birch Stabilized" i thought maple but in these things I have learned to go with the bill says how is it performing for you?

So far so good, but it hasn't seen much use yet. Other than some feather sticks
