Need Facts About CutCo Knives (Please be as objective as possible)

$125 for a PARING KNIFE?!? Oh HE'LL no!

and they own Ka-Bar ... guess I won't be getting one of those, either.

Though Cutco owns Ka-Bar, Ka-Bar, I believe, is run pretty much as its own separate entity. The quality, materials, and pricing that comes with a Ka-Bar knife are very reasonable. It is when one buys a Ka-Bar style knife from Cutco that you'll start paying quite a bit more. Mike
