Who else EDCs a fixedblade?

I've really come to love carrying a fixed blade these days. As long as I'm not in a suit, I'm rocking a fixed blade.

Currently carry an ESEE3 in S35VN. Just picked up a Fallkniven R2 which will be interesting to try. Its just so darn cute.

They really did a good job on this one. It is a lot more ergonomic than I expected based on the looks. They nicely rounded the proud tang. It also has my favorite kind of stonewash. Overall, this is an excellent outdoors knife. It's easily one of the best budget fixed blades (sub-$100) we've seen in recent years.

Although not actually kydex, the sheath is okay. I love the quick-adjust rotatable clip design. Unfortunately, the adjustable tension on the sheath is a weak point and that part of mine has worn out over time. I like the knife enough that I'm going to have some custom kydex made for it. I'll be sending in the stock sheath to make sure I get the right hole spacing to keep using that adjustable belt clip.

I've carried my gaurdian 3 around 2 years. The only time it came off my belt was because it poked a hole in the sheath right by my crotch. I ordered a second leather one and a kydex one so I dont have to go without if it happens again. I'd try a 3.5 or other scout carry options.

Man, if you don't already own a tiny LT Wright fixie, you really OWE it to yourself to at least try one.

They're offered in several quality steels (*O1, D2, A2, and 3V), are smaller than your average "opened" Stockman, and are absolutely GLORIOUS for your everyday tasks...

With the sizes of those fixies, I'm completely grasping the handle of "junglefighter" 😲
Since I live and worked in the south pacific islands jungle environment as part of my law enforcement duties, we always had to dispatch snakes, lizards ( not the chamelon sized) and the occassional wild pig as well as feral dogs.. Plus we also had to cut limbs off of trees when our younger troops got off the hard/blacktop roads in the areas we patrolled and slid off into the jungle
