just had some setbacks, guys....that's all. I have sent out a whole bunch of knives and will be udpating the list this morning. Thanks for your patience!

No worries Dan. I actually got my knife in the mail today and everything is great with it. I can't believe how different it feels compared to my other bushcrafter.

Please go into more details about this gmarthur.

I have been dying to get my hands on one of these with the generation 3 handle design. Is this part of what you are referring to ???

Any further comments on this subject will be appreciated........

Thanks in advance.......... ;)

I'll snap some pics and start a new thread for you teacher. Don't want to SPAM up this thread too much :)

Dan, I PM'ed you over the weekend, but I'll try a post here as well. I sent full payment for #71. Please confirm whether you received it or not and if so please mark me paid on the list. Feel free to PM me or email me. Thanks

Got mine today! It is awesome! It was kind of anticlimactic since I had already traded for an Ironwood one with liners but nonetheless, well worth the wait. The new models have a completely different feel to them compared to the Gen 3's. The handles have a different profile in all three dimensions and I must say they feel better in the hand. I think aesthetically the look better too.

Hello Dan,

I would like to place a order if your list is still open.

CPM 3V, Blue/Black G10, with SS Corby Bolts and Kydex sheath. I will send the down payment as soon as I know you are still taking orders.

Thanks,

Dan McCormack

Are any of the blade blanks finished ahead of schedule, (I was sent an email about full payment but did not get a reply)? I just ask as you state the first 100 or so are nearly ready, but I am 141 on the list, and want to pay when ready.

Thank you.
Kris

That looks great! Thick slabs are

Dan, just a reminder from a past thread. My two PIF have liners....... feel free to leave the handles as thick as you can even with liners in both. I like thick handles.

My knife came today! Looks very good with the coco scales. I don't have an old model to compare but I like the thicker handle. My first scandi so not sure how I'll do sharpening it. Of course 3V stays sharp forever I'm told. I did not buy a sheath but it fits perfectly in my BRKT full tang kephart sheath. I did not check other models of BRKT but could it someone is curious. I have quite a few BRKT's in about this size.

Yes - I do plan on doing a bunch of blanks now that the first 100 have been glued up (with 1 or 2 exceptions...waiting on stag and olive wood). I got a bunch done yesterday.

In case anyone is wondering....the blanks will be fully finished even on the tang.

Did you see the progress pics?

Look at the last pic, the top-most, right-most is yours, as is the one 2 down from it. Both have liners.

Important note:

I am marking all CPM154 blades with a "CPM154" stencil on the backside. Meaning (important for second-market purchases) that if it doesn't have a steel stamp on it - it is CPM3V. I only made a few in O1...and they should be fairly obvious.

Hi Dan,

I sent you a PM a week or so ago, can I add on a leather sheath? # 194, already paid in full, I can paypal the $ for the sheath as soon as you let me know.

Thanks

Mike

Dan, I'm #71 and I paid in full last weekend. Can you please mark me that way on the list so we don't lose track? Thanks!

Hey Dan
When you get a chance, can you alter my status and put Pd65 next to it? Sent you pm regarding the deposit payment some time ago with the transaction id.
Cheers
Eric
