2019 GEC 29 Humpback/Stockyard Whittler Thread

Interesting to see GEC's smooth orange bone...
I came to similar results filing and sanding down my #15 blood red jigged bone from 2013
(see picture below).
Luckily still the original pins, but I had to fix them with superglue.
ps: the frame is off topic to this thread, maybe it fits enough because of its handle.

Well, I am not one to wait by my computer, but I tuned in to a dealer just after he posted his Stag #29s, and picked this nice stockyard whittler!! Serendipity I guess!! I'm stoked!!

I wish GEC would not put stain on their knives and use Tru-oil Gunstock finish instead. Your #29 knives look wonderful. American Whittler SFO #29 Stockyard Whittler in smooth "orange amber" bone with badge shield "surprise release are out". I saw one newly posted on You-tube yesterday.this one came out ok - I like it

Thank you much.
This is our third Heeler. Our other two have since passed away.They are very smart dogs but boy are they a handful at this young age.Lots and lots of energy.
