Is everybody high on preorder sauce? Not as much traffic here as I expected, but speaking of traffic the preorder is on page 5! Do one you “...notnathans” know what the biggest preorder has been in the past? I’m thrilled to get mine DEKed out (I couldn’t resist,) but also really excited to see CPK getting such a response, especially after so many biweekly millisecond sellouts.

So I went back and looked, not too seriously but still had to satisfy my own curiosity (I'm cursed with a very ruminating mind, ugh!).

The original FK and the HDFK had pretty sizable preorders because they both ran a couple of times. I would still give the nod to the venerable HDFK but as a one off pre-order, one of those EDC patterns had the longest number of pages. I think that if Nathan let's this DEK1 run for a week, this one may very well beat 'em all as a one-off preorder because Nathan's reputation and the demand for CPKs have grown since those aforementioned preorders of years back.

Wouldn't have mattered - we were all in the knifemakers exchange. Now, if a knifemaker had posted an ad just then, it would have been funny. (Funnier if it was one of the busy Fridays)

I was looking out for that. But, I made other mistakes so, who knows. I hope I don't make the same mistakes next time.

That's awesome that Nate's doing the Fun Friday Sales out in the knifemaker exchange now. Way better exposure out there.
