I noticed Winkler knives when they posted for sale and sold pretty fast every time and I decided to take a closer look at the brand. My conclusion is these are some of the best knives made. Nothing flashy, but they tend to get compliments and if you have a Winkler, chances are you have a Carothers also, quality keeps good company.

Oh yeah, eBay is full of that crap.

That's why I buy direct from Winkler so I don't have to worry about it.

What about on here? I’m hoping fellow WK fans would spot them and call them out. I’ve got a Huntsman I was thinking of parting with for a belt knife or something a tad bigger.

If only that were allowed....apparently its not.
A couple days ago in another thread I called out a company that is currently making high quality Winkler counterfeits and the sites where they were being sold. My post was immediately edited and I was told that posting such things was not allowed......just saying......But you are right, those who see something should be able to say something.

I wouldn’t worry about here, the fakes are easy enough to spot and if you’re unsure just report the thread and or send me a DM with your concerns.

There’s nothing wrong with pointing out fakes/clones being sold on other sites, just don’t post links to those sites… they get enough site traffic without BF members assisting.

You can't say that for sure given the quality of what being made by the fakers....

Try posting a fake here and see how long it takes to detect, nothing gets past these guys! Did you ever think the ripoffs on auction sites buy an actual genuine item for pics only and you get something different when the package arrives? Those pics that look “spot on” and “nice quality” are the real deal most likely, and they have a shoebox of fakes made from car bumper steel.

You won’t see a fake gaining traction here or the Winkler FB group. Too many members (and moderators) who are fans and familiar with the brand.

I did not post links, just who was selling them and where.....still the post was edited and I was told it was against the rules.....
