Ha! I have my mailman’s phone number (his relief too) and if it’s something important, I call to find where he is on the route.

Don’t want to be that guy who has to “one up” but...........
Earlier this year had @WValtakis ship me a special knife, delivery 5/26, it arrived 5/25 Memorial Day, special delivery
Chips quote upon seeing it delivered a day early

“Dang Chris...I knew you were special, but holiday mail delivery...most impressive”

We had a couple packages that were delivered by USPS on Easter Sunday this year. I felt bad for the mailman. What’s next, mail service on Christmas Day?

Edited to add: I forgot what thread we were in — thought it was the Lounge — so to remain on topic, I’ll add that I got my shipment notification on Tuesday.
