That's the way I looked at it, haha. I modded one in tiger stripes. Really liked it, but it had no practical use for me, so I sold it. Then I bought another, and modded it more rustic like, for a friend. Now this one. I may mod it, and throw it in my BOB. Hell, everything else is in there, haha.
I remember seeing the pics after you modded and painted the stripes that was a sweet hawk...

impossible to beat that price.... welcome to the jungle !!!!!

not like i need another but they are fun to mod and throw around, and at that price why not...lol

You guys are gonna bankrupt me!!!! How can ya beat $20 x RSK x Bk29 x another Bk4 Oh because there discontinued I need a third one x Oh so is the Bk 5 x What do you mean they made a LE Bk10 ect... ect...

What RTT are you looking at? We've been using an ARB Simpson III for about eight years. Love it.

I'm jealous! Got any pics of it on your vehicle?

I have mostly looked at tepui and cvt... But honestly any of them would probably do LOL

I'll be at a weekend long off road camping trip in October and several guys will have different RTTs for me to check out in person as i have never seen them up close.

I have watched some videos and lots of reading! Love the concept... But the price... Jeeze- once i get the bed rack and rtt we're talking 1700+ shipping... and shipping ain't cheap for either neither...

I see pop up and pull behind campers being sold for a few grand pretty often... It would be more room... But i hate being tied to a trailer.

I think an rtt with the annex facing the back of my truck would be the perfect setup. Put an onboard pressurized water tank in the bed for a shower and I could use a hitch toilet. Done!

a Bob Kramer carbon chef knife sold for over $13k on ebay.!!!! yeah it was a historic one he ground himself and not the production knives but $13k for 52100 carbon..WOW !!! I know Mr. Kramer is the man but didnt realize the knives he personally made are now top notch collector pieces....

From Imgur's terms of service:

Also, don't use Imgur to host image libraries you link to from elsewhere, content for your website, advertising, avatars, or anything else that turns us into your content delivery network. If you do – and we will be the judge – or if you do anything illegal, in addition to any other legal rights we may have, we will ban you along with the site you're hotlinking from, delete all your images, report you to the authorities if necessary, and prevent you from viewing any images hosted on Imgur.com. We mean it.

I actually emailed Imgur to get clarification on this and Sara, one of their support specialists got back to me rather promptly with this:

You're welcome to use Imgur to host your images, as long as they do not break our Terms of Service (http://imgur.com/tos). Imgur's Terms of Service prohibits using Imgur for a content delivery network, hotlinking adult or illegal images, torrents, image hosting for commercial purposes and selling things, or sites which copy Imgur's own functionality. Imgur's intended use is not as a CDN, but rather as a platform to upload, share and browse entertaining images. Forum use is ok, as long as it's not for commercial use (selling items), adult content, or used to host website elements on the forum.

So Imgur users are good to go. I think the biggest concern is that if you are using their platform to host images either for your own website or for commercial endeavors, they are going to take issue with that.

I was going to test ride imgur now, as I just signed in with them; the problem is I make and sell knives, so that means I can't use them to post pics of my knives here? what should I do?

I am going to venture a guess and say that you are just fine. I find it highly unlikely that they have the staff to monitor every user heavily. I think their biggest concern is if their service is being used to host content of a questionable nature, not the myriad of craftsmen and craftswomen who want to display their craft and get a sale. My understanding is that they just don't want their platform used to host images on a website that is strictly a commercial enterprise, which this forum is not. If someone is conducting a business on their own website, then they should be hosting their own images, not utilizing an image hosting platform.

So, I think you are good to go, I have yet to hear about someone getting booted/frozen or even a warning for using pics to sell goods on a forum. Honestly, how can you expect them to monitor and enforce that, anyway? I suspect it would be largely a complaint based system and one that is more concerned with questionable content versus simply selling your crafted goods.

I don't know if that puts your mind at ease at all. Though I haven't sold much here, I have done so without any issue and I have been using Imgur for quite some time.

gotcha, thanks. I guess I will try to post stuff tomorrow then. Such a low blow with photobucket, I've been using it for many years.

and oh yeah, shameless plug...Beckerheads & Ka-Bar Krew get 10% off the sale price of my knives :D

That looks great!!

Could you set it up at night by yourself?

No problem. There is a learning curve and it's probably a bit harder for me as I'm only 5'6" and the FJ has a 3" lift (that's why I also need the short extension ladder). If was mounted closer to the ground (or I was taller), setup would be even easier. Packing it away is perhaps a bit easier with a second person to help make sure the fabric folds neatly, but it's not a deal-breaker

That's not a fair question, Gus is a frickin' monkey, so he is up over the top of, underneath, weaseling his way through, and around that thing!

LOL! Yeah, we've had to utilize some unorthodox techniques to get it open and closed!

I'm half sh*t faced. That is all.
