Lately I’ve taken to listen to songs by Marty Robbins probably drives my wife crazy but just something about the songs he did, a few of my favorites are;

Big Iron
Mr Shorty
Five Brothers
Tall handsome stranger
Master’s Call

many more of course, not sure why they move me as they do but they does ;)

lol yes, that certainly must be it ! and why not, next month will mark a year since I retired at 66 so, old is old, but those cowboy songs...I don't know they just strike a cord in me for some reason.

I see that I'm not alone, my wife will be pleased that I'm not the only one. ;)

Don Walser is pure cowboy, a step further back than I go, but my father in law I'm sure would really like those a lot.

I recently ordered a Marty Robbins cd called "Gunfighter Ballads and trail songs" the big river folks decided to ship the cd AND my roll of 250' paracord in the same box, of course the cd case was damaged.

I contacted them before I opened the wrapper to get a replacement. I asked if they wanted the image of the cracked case, they said nope, don't need that and you can just keep the busted one, we will send you a new one.

SO...my father in law will be getting a new cd ;)
