That said, I did get a HDFK with torx fasteners. I'm not sure if they came stock from CPK or added after.

IIRC, CPK has never used Torx heads before but some people may have changed their 8/32 to Torx. On one of the pic you had posted, one set of fastener hex looked wider than the other so it got me wondering!

Ohh, I see why. The fasteners on the newer BD are slightly countersunk.

I think that they used torx for a short time - there is a quote in the 'screws' section of the encyclopedia

Our titanium screws are allen head now, but they used to be torx.
