You're right, Steve. Thats a drop dead gorgeous 'nut!!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Even though my old fart fingers are too arthritic to carry a peanut these days, I love that you guys post such good legume porn for me to admire. Gotta love The Cult!:)

Finally had a chance to take a picture...

WOW that is one gorgeous knife, special run?

The only place I see them is at New Graham. They still have a couple patterns with these handles...

That's a wonderful little knife. Years ago I worked alongside a guy named Darrel that had one of those as his regular everyday pocketknife. He kept it in his coin pocket and used it for just about everything. He took a few decades to wear it out and the blade was down to the sharpened toothpick. He finally got a new pocket knife, and it was a new Schrade Might Mite. He just loved that pattern and size.

Great little knives!

It sure is a nice knife. Back in the 70's,my daughter was with me when we went into a shop that sold many knives. She said for me to pick out any knife I want and she wanted to buy it for me. That was the knife I picked. So it is kind of special.

Just wanted to do my part to bump up this thread. I received a new Peanut on Saturday that I purchased off the big river site. Just to add to my meager stable of yellar CV and chestnut CV. I introduce to the Cult my new Black Cherry Bone in SS. I must say, I was a bit disappointed in the color. There is not much of a hint of deep reddish tones I expected. However, the coloring is pretty even and I think it is still quite attractive. This random representation is about as perfect a specimen as can be had though. Blades are quite snappy and came fairly sharp. Centered nicely with no rub. There was a bit of burr left, but I knocked that off with a couple of licks on the pocket stone. The shield sits a mite proud on one end, but barely noticeable except by feel. I wanted to try the stainless version of this particular model. I have other Case SS knives, but I don't really use them all that much. I think they did a pretty good job on this one. I'll be satisfied until I decide on another color! The folks in Bradford have really stepped up in my opinion.
Unfortunately I am unable to post any images this morning and am quite disappointed after typing the above. The older I get, the less I like modern technology. Thus endeth my review. Now I have to go cut something.

That was one of the very few bones I had to pick with case. (Okay, bad pun)

The dye of the bone scales can be a little inconsistent in color and not like that is pictured. But it's all good in the end of its at least consistent in color in that scale. While I love the chestnut, the red dye can be a bit different at times.

As a PSA, SMKW has single, and triple bladed nuts in bareheaded campfire bone. One of the singles is on it's way here :)
