I usually try to post them. This time when I composed my message I was quite literally hiding from my boss and crew at a rare moment in the day when we were actually working, or supposed to be anyways. Such is my devotion to the dotd. Anyways I don't even know if I got the knife or not so maybe its all for naught. It is quite a little beauty. What do y'all put that handle on the baby cak at? About 4 1/2"?

lol...I know how that is! One time I was in a meeting, faked having to use the bathroom, and sat in a stall for a 1/2 hour waiting for the DOTD to show up...funny thing was, I didn't get anything. The bcak today is a beauty all right, you only have to wait for the DD from auntie, suspense is a killer isn't it?

I don't have one yet, but 4.5" sounds about right for a cak that size, taking into account the OAL, and the guessed size of the handle length.

Crystaleyes has been around for quites awhile. He knows the program around this forum. It is "nice" if forumites post on the DOTD threads when an email has been sent to Auntie to purchase a DOTD, so that the feeding frenzy can stop for a particular item; however, that is a courtesy, and it is given whenever possible, it is not a "must do"

If a forum member cannot post on a thread immediately after sending auntie an email, but does so later at a later time, that's perfectly fine. Personally, I'd rather see that, than deal with a stealth shark, and believe me, there are quite a few.

Just last week, there was a DOTD thread, and I think every single item was purchased, and not one person posted an ems, you want to talk about sneaky, that is some serious "stealth sharking". But, oh well, it's a DOTD, and for most of us, if your fast enough to get, then great, if not, there's always next time.

There are no "sore losers", we are always thankful for the person who did get the DOTD, and there will always be another chance. Because if no one bought the DOTD's, I don't think auntie would post anymore on the forum, and that would be a sad thing indeed.

Happy sharking everyone!

Well said. Its been this way for a long time. A rare civility here. --Class of 06

If my frogrule is correct (and it is) Id say 4 1/2 as well. Yall are good! Total length of mine is a tempanic membrane under 10". Philllll! How many squirrels is that?

This here villager biltong's around the same size. Handle looks like she's a little shy of 2 squirrel heads long.

Ah yes! By coincidence i can only wring the necks off of four squirrels at one time using both hands, which tells me I should get a good fit to my hand on the grip of that cak. Your frogrule is equally precise, I wish I had one like yours with both tympanic and nictitating membrane measurements!

For the smaller stuff I usually grab this Kangaroo Pouch. I think it's also certified but I can't seem to find the documents.

They must have really small babies to fit in these little pouches!

I nearly fainted when I came in and saw that none of the kuks were sold yet and thought I was finally going to get a bcak. Lol then my heart broke when I saw it was because of internet trouble. Please, lady luck, favor me next time!

I don't think anyone should care about whether you post on the thread or not. I do it to be polite so people don't get super excited only to find out the knife was already purchased....Speed is the name of the game, and if you (whomever) get butt-hurt while playing, maybe you (again, whomever is taking offense) should take a break to cool down. And yes, I sent Yangdu an email, as well as posting here....

I think last time around she had a whole batch of them, not just one, so you might still be in luck!

that std. squirrel is an internationally accepted unit of measurement in lieu of those confusing english and metric systems of itches and feats, sillymeters, grans, onces, parsecs, etc.

it is also acceptable to weigh things with squirrels. ie. my kobra weighs about two squirrels and a half.

please note that measuring in red squirrels are no longer acceptable as they are a protected species.
