EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Love my Weatherguard box! Mines about 20 y.o. and works flawlessly except the locks. They’ve failed twice. Replaced both times w/out any question from company. I live in NE Ohio so you can almost expect them to fail. Love that 18!
Thanks! I had to read your post a few times to realize that "Love that 18!" referred to the knife and not some specific Weatherguard box. Duh 😖 . Aside from the erosion of the coating on my box tops over these 30 years, one lock lost it's key-slot cover (still works), an inner weld on the cross box lid stiffener broke causing a small leak hole (caulked it), and the lifters on the big box have worn out. My truck's tall enough the I have to access it from the bed or a two step ladder I carry, so I just sling a bungee cord over the racks and hook the lid to hold it up.

Anyway, that XM18 is the first of my two Skinny 18"s and my first TriWay, too. I still like my older Gen RHK's, but those two are right at the top of my Hinderer favorites along with the Firetac.

Petersburg has been flooded by heavy rain for 24 hours now. We have to hide on the balcony. :)

Pertersburg, AK? Spent a couple seasons there - that's seriously wet place!

Spent some tending to the fruit today. The cherries are amazing this year, and the first wave of Blueberries are coming through nicely. I have high hopes for the figs, and our one peach tree that still produces is looking promising, but neither of those are quite ready yet. After that just relaxed around the pad. Made some watermelon agua fresca at the kids' request, ordered supper from our favorite sandwich shop, then a nice dessert on the porch enjoying the view. Carried the mini-Freek and the Vic Vagabond

More on topic, as I didn't carry either of the RHKs I just posted, I went back this morning to my large 31 Dama that I only carried briefly yesterday. I had mentioned I like to keep it nice, though that really only extends to the blade and not any snail trails on it's blasted PJ handles, which are just par for the course for such offerings from CRK. I do carry and use this one--just don't want to see it's sweet Chad Nichols Boomascus all scratched up or prematurely worn away if I find the need to cut something abrasive.

Ooo nice man! I love super old knives and the fact that their heirlooms makes them a million times better.
Thanks.
You've got some nice users there if you chose to carry them.
I try not to use mine as it has a sharp edge (by Granddad ?) but has some bur that I left as is . I don't want to mess with it / remove that .

Thanks!...

I know, right? It did catch my eye as soon as it was released, but it wasn't until I found those amber beads (they belonged to my mom) that I started looking for a knife in ultem to match, and this one seemed the obvious choice. Luckily it wasn't a very popular release so I was able to score it on the exchange for around half of retail. Still, I didn't really expect to like it as much as I do, but it's quickly becoming a mainstay in the rotation.
