Forum Knife Updates and comments

So... My wife (yay!) are on our honeymoon and by a stroke of luck, she just happened to rent us a house in none other that POST FALLS, Idaho!

We’re on our way to the Buck store as we speak and we have a factory tour tomorrow at 10am. :D

I wonder if the forum knife will be on the tour...

Congrats! I hope your marriage is as good as mine!:thumbsup:
Very cool happenstance! The tour should be fun!

Well... I imagine they’re down there somewhere, lol. We’ll see how the tour goes tomorrow. :D

And be sure to stop at SK Blades and say "Hi!" to Stephan. :)

You know... I just might do that. I wouldn’t mind seeing the Silver Fox or Goodfella in person. Those are some gorgeous knives.

I asked one of the tour guides in the store as well as a customer rep about the forum knife today, but they didn’t have any info on it (or whether it was on the tour), they offered to find out (that Buck customer service!), but I told them not to bother since I’ll be there tomorrow morning. I will definitely ask about it and let them know they have a forum full of people who are very excited about this project. :)

Nothing new to report on the knife unfortunately. Mr. Cooper wasn’t around during the tour and I would have felt like a jerk having them hunt him down, lol.

The tour was a BLAST though!

I like a single spring myself, but as many complaints as I see about blade rub and "crooked blades" (the proper term is "crinked") two springs is a good idea, especially since most of these will end up in collections rather than pockets.

I bought one for the collection and one for the pocket. Rarely do I buy a knife just to put up but this one I did.

I think a lot of these will wind up in the pocket.
I know mine will displace the standard 3 blade 301 that has been part of my Buck EDC Trio for years.

I'm anxious to see if it will kick my Churchill out of my pocket. I'm going to have to like it a whole lot for that to happen but it has great potential.

This is exactly how I'm feeling. The 35 is one of my bencharks and most carried. This one has great potential and will end up in my pocket..we'll see how it fairs after the honeymoon..prospect looks good.

I'm looking forward to giving mine a routine of multiple work outs when she arrives. I only ordered one so she's going directly in my pocket and I recon my old 64047 will have make a little room in there.

Ready to see what these will look like and to be able to carry it around. Think it will be one of those knives it will be hard to put down once in hand.
