Go Large--The BF Big Folder Thread

It's been quiet for quite some time over here, but here's something new to me that should provide a hefty bump, as in 8+ ounces and 4+ inches of hand- and pocket-filling cutlery.

Great piece! Love that blade shape.

It's gone quiet over here in Big Folder City, so I'll give things a bit of a bump with my Cheburkov Leader which I picked up late last summer. The +4" M390 blade has a very pleasing shape and its cleverly designed all-CF handle featuring only a lockbar gives this good-sized knife an incredibly light weight of 3.4 oz.

Boy, got a lot of viewing to do, love the knives here.

So, I am teetering on whether I want to keep and use this knife or move it along for a long time, but look what a wide blade that is.... I hear the grind makes it extra conducive to strops. I'm not a framelock guy, but this at the very least impresses me with its style. So, normally I post LONG blades like the Opinel 13 or Espada XL, but this is a fat, 4.5mm thick Elmax blade. Not much of a tip to it but man.... You think Lynn Thompson might wear this as a smaller, fifth-pocket knife at the opera?
