Thanks man. The TRP is the nicest non-custom 1911 I've fired. I'll never get ride of that thing.

The AR is kind of a frankenstein. It started out as a complete LMT rifle. Then I put a LaRue 12" rail and a PWS FSC556 compensator on it. The compensator almost eliminates all recoil. The grip on the rail is a LaRue FUG. It also has a JP Rifles Tactical single stage trigger (badass trigger in my opinion). Aimpoint CompM3 optic attached with a LaRue canteliever mount. I also added some Magpul back up iron sights, Magpul ASAP sling attachment and Magpul MS2 sling. It took about 2 years to get this AR setup the way I wanted it, but it's worth every penny now. I love it!
I ran this AR through Magpul Dynamics' Carbine 1 & 2 classes without a single hiccup.

larue makes the best optic mount i've ever seen...and the fug, well it's fugging fantastic :) aside from the larue stuff, the fsc556 is the best mod i've ever done - especially it flew under the radar in people's republic of nj'stan. it's actually legal here :eek:

Man these long days are a killer for my pics. My camera sensitivity needs work. Going to have to start waiting until dark for pics. First pic of a series I'll take soon.

Great thing about ESEE blades is that they fit in nicely to your EDC. My EDC isn't just a lighter and keys after all....

;) It was the next buy until my A/C started crapping out at the house. That has put a damper on my toy purchases. I've been 1911 shopping for over 5 years and always end up buying something else due to the terrible ratio of price to reliability. I've got it narrowed down to a couple of factory gun choices (good deal on a TRP, I've found a good deal on a S&W), other than that I'm going Brown or Baer. Utter reliability is the only thing that will earn a place in my carry gear and I'd rather drop $550 on a G21 with no soul than $1300 on a gamble of reliabilty. The quality of factory 1911s these days is pretty lame IMO. Enough on that tanget. :D

This is just after a 3-day Magpul Advanced Carbine class (approx. 2000rds fired).
Amazingly I didn’t have to clean it once during the class. I just lubed the hell out of it.
