It followed me home (Part 2)

Great haul, that cleaver looks impressive.
How long is the drawknife and the longer backsaw?
Would either be etched/stamped?
The longer backsaw looks to have a hole drilled thru for hanging on a hook or nail maybe?

Who makes the vise in the back row? It looks similar to one on my garage floor...:D

Thanks

T Travbud1 came through in a big way by hooking me up with this True-Temper camp set! It’s in exquisite condition with all components including both straps, the blade guard, and the original box.
It’s the CK1 model and was the larger of their sportsman camp sets. (Somewhere I was reading about 3 configurations they offered with a straight or curved handle axe etc.)

ITVD, I'm glad that it made it to you safe and sound! I'm happy knowing this set will be in good hands and with good company, much better than gathering dust on the shelf at an antique store.

Awesome set itvd.. And it's great you were able to figure it out with a fellow member. That's always a plus! I wish we could all have a meet up somehow. The problem of course would be where and when to have it! It takes quite the item to give me a pang of envy, but that did it! Lol.

I got a few more things. More on the way of course.

I am particularly pleased with this Atkins no53 hand saw... It has 4 broken teeth and the handle has been repaired but it's still a beauty in my eyes.

Not sure of the maker on this db. It's a diamond eye.

Another 30" S&N haft.

And a vinyard measuring stick! 7' long. From some vinyard shop in New Hampshire.

Is everyone else suffering from this horrible heat? It's been so bad here in the north east. Just work work work this time of year.

I hope that's your wife's beer, or at the very least, your gay cousin's.

Now that is such an awesome set.

That version shown in the catalog page with the hatchet and little shovel is awesome, I wonder if they made an In between with a boys axe and medium sized shovel ?
Looks like they made a set with a mid length axe handle and two different shovels.

That’s a tall order and I hate to crow over the suffering of others, but in this circumstance I’m glad to proffer a little discomfort to you. ;)

Cheers my friend!

Earlier today I really wanted to make a funny joke in response to a regular member's comment. I had it written out and everything. But I decided against it because there's just something different about posting on a public forum. It's not like shooting the shit in person which, of course, we all do.
Maybe you lack people skills? Perhaps it's something else. Either way that was totally uncalled for in this setting. I hope you get that... Nobody's feelings are being hurt. It's just rude. Normally a guy would just insult you back but it doesn't work like that here. Shape up or ship out man.

My lord, are you men or chicks? It was a frigging joke, just how sensitive are you gals?

Maybe you lack a penis? Sorry, I spent 29 years in the US Military. You know, working with MEN that knew what a joke was.
