I just dont like liner lock folders. If the liner were just as thick as the blade it's supposed to be locking? Even then... nope.
Just cant do it.
Just cant do it.
I ponder my next knife purchase daily, even though I have enough folders to last me a long lifetime.
I bought a fixed blade I have little to no use for. I'll probably buy another.
I really don't care what type of steel is used in blade construction as long as the maker has the heat treat right and I know its properties so I can care for it.
I like Spyderco knives, but have never owned one and just haven't had the desire to buy one yet.
I think most production knives with M390 steel are mostly useless because most knife manufacturers can't seem to properly heat treat it to bring out its superb qualities.
Lastly, I'm severely addicted to knives. Oh wait... we all are here.
Where do I buy those scales?View attachment 1389829
Alox is OK, but I like Titanium better.
Clean an animal or fish with a folder a couple times, and you'll quickly see the allure. ;-)I have no need for a fixed blade knife, except for the kitchen.
