Lets talk GEC!

I believe that’s called worm groove. It’s pretty radical but feels great in the hand when done well.
Definitely a bold move and something to have in the collection...speaking of bold moves, I saw this one today on another site. Called end of day, I wonder if they meant “end of days” Or if “unicorn farts” was already taken? Rare and therefore stupid expensive.

No. It is end of day. There were only a few made. I looked it up a few years ago while going through the production numbers, they were never done in more than a test run I think in two or so different years, less than 5 total maybe. It’s supposed to be made at the end of the day with all the leftovers melted together to eliminate waste. I’ve never seen one before and always wanted on but I’m glad to see it looks the way it does on the set up it’s on so I don’t have to waste my time. I don’t like the colors or the jack layout on the 53/54 frame. It is one of the more rare covers. Looked better in my imagination though.

I like the thought of that, too bad they couldn’t make it happen.

I am not certain on that - I would have to find the post where Darren ( waverave waverave ) mentioned what he knew or had heard. I think the rumored M&G SFO is said to be in Ebony in a 2-blade jack format - I still think that is subjective though so please don't quote me. Otherwise, I did hear that a single blade SFO was being built for another outlet as well but I don't know the specifics on that one.

It is also entirely possible that there will be a Northwoods run with this pattern as well.

Yea, I’m talking about the one Darren mentioned. Not sure why it’s so hard to find out what versions will be sold by who. It’s beyond annoying.

Sorry didn't see this sooner. Lonestar has a single blade SFO in smooth yellow bone. I've seen photos but can't find them off-hand. Some had damascus blades and a bar shield.

Thanks for the info, I was just whining about tracking down who’s gonna have what version and how to find out about them. First world problems.
