Mad for Micarta Picture Thread

I'd been looking for this one for so long that I left it WTB with a note in my sig line when I finally found it. Not only is it Micarta, which puts it here, but it's the perfect complement to my other Al Mar, so here's a solo shot and the pair of my two bird brothers--the Falcon and the Eagle.

BTW, I've been busy and not on the forums a lot lately, but was so very pleased to see all the great new pics of Micarta handled knives that I pretty much Liked every damn one on the last two+ pages. Really nice stuff, y'all!

View attachment 782171 View attachment 782165 Here are a couple of Flint spatulae that Rick Menefee rehandled in brown linen Micarta. The original handles were unreinforced black phenolic. The blades are very thin and slightly curved. If you snap the blades with your finger nail, they ring.

Here is a comparison picture of the factory handle versus the custom linen micarta.
