Best micarta picture I've ever seen was a few years ago on this site. Someone posted a pic of a Becker, I forget which one, and they had replaced the scales with black paper micarta. It looked amazing.

Have one of these in Natural buffed micarta on order.....How long or how much use did it take for your handles to break down. I was worried about how the Natural micarta would hold up with use.....Seeing this is not making me feel optimistic. Nice pic though

Im sorry, why is that micarta handle so deteriorated/fibers broken down/why does it look like its been sitting outdoors for 20 years?....Unless thats how the handles were ordered....Don't really care now, probably only get a sarcastic answer from the photographer
