On Randall knives

It seems that the wait time is prohibitive. I initially was under the impression that you could order from a catalog and have the knife in a month. I guess not so. No wonder the prices are crazy.

I ordered a model 1-8 in late 67. It was delivered in the spring of 69. By then I was almost finished with a tour in Viet Nam. I told my dad not to bother sending it over. Wait times have been lengthy for as long as I can remember.
